Alf’s Pizza, renowned for its mouthwatering and innovative pizzas, is thrilled to announce its exciting partnership with Co-Conspirators Brewpub, a local independent brewery known for its exceptional beer offerings. This collaboration promises to take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey of flavour and craftsmanship.

“We’ve always believed that great beer deserves great food, and this partnership with Alf’s Pizza allows us to bring that belief to life,” said Jacquiline Sacco, Co-Director of Co-Conspirators Brewing Co. “Our collaboration will showcase the versatility of independent beer when paired with expertly crafted pizzas, we are excited to bring the authentic Italian flavours to Brunswick and to our patrons.”

The Alf’s Pizza and Co-Conspirators collaboration will officially kick off this weekend and will close on Christmas Eve, 24th December.

“There is a movement within the beer industry to make these beers and raise awareness with what’s happening in Ukraine and this was a really good opportunity to be involved in it,” says Jacqui Sacco, director of marketing and PR at Co-Conspirators. “Being independent brewers ourselves, we are all about collaborating – that’s where our name came from.”

Sacco says that the Co-Conspirators creation – a dry-hopped take on the Kellerbier, which features a cartoon version of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky on the can – reflected the company’s broader approach.

“We like to hop things pretty aggressively and we do a lot of hazy pales and IPAs,” she says. “We’ve called ours The Freedom Fighter, which we are pretty happy with.”

Congratulations to our mate, Clint Weaver (aka Pocketbeagles) for winning a Global Crushie at the Craft Beer Marketing Awards for our new Usual Suspects Range!

From Beer & Brewer, ‘Announced overnight at the Craft Brewers Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, entrants from Australia won a total of 17 CBMA awards – or “Crushies” – which was the second largest return of any country behind the US.

For the first time since the brewery’s conception in 2016, Brunswick’s own Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is releasing its own range of ‘usual suspects.’ The first beer of the range is the Co-Conspirators Hazy Pale Ale, to be released together with Co-Conspirators fan favourite and original hazy beer, The Matriarch NEIPA. We are also excited for what’s to come, as self-proclaimed hop heads and lager lovers we can’t wait for a new IPA & Lager to complete the perfect lineup in 2023.

“Brunswick’s Most Wanted” line- up will be available year-round, together with Co-Conspirator’s extensive and always exciting range of seasonal and co-conspired releases, including The Hop Peddler Hazy Pale Ale, which won best Modern Pale Ale at this year’s Australian International Beer Awards in May.

With the recent success of our hazy pale ales at AIBA’s and Indie Beer awards and after refining the recipe out of our brewpub we are ready to introduce our new hazy pale. This beer is triple dry hopped with some of our favourite hops for that mouth-watering tropical, citrus flavor profile. Triple dry-hopping allows for saturation of hop flavours and aromas in the beer by adding the hops during different periods of fermentation to extract most of the precious oils. We have packed our new hazy pale ale full of punchy and refreshing hops, in the form of Simcoe, Azacca & Idaho 7. Juicy citrus & tangerine flavours jump out of the can and make for the ultimate refreshment. Think fresh orange and tangerine, tropical fruits, mango, citrus zest, and hints of pine. A medium body balanced with a fluffy mouthfeel and low bitterness provide ultimate thirst-crushing drinkability, this beer is ready to grab and smash! Whether it’s a knock-off, a night starter, a backyarder, or just beer with your bestie this is your perfect accomplice for refreshment and fun.

Clint Weaver [Co-Conspirators Brewing Company graphic designer] of Pocketbeagles explains the motivation for the design, “The visual idea for the core range goes back to the original brand brief of simple yet mysterious. These inconspicuous figures lurking in the shadows within the Co-Conspirator’s underworld narrative, without names, and hopefully raising more questions than they answer”.

These usual suspects will be available on tap and cans at their own brewpub in Brunswick and via their website, as well as the bars, restaurants, and retailers of great independent craft beer.

Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is launching the Hazy Pale Ale at their Brewpub at 377 Victoria Street, Brunswick on Friday 25th November to celebrate this perfect line-up.
